Surf’s Up Dude!
Learn about waves, what they are, where they come from, and why the waves break. Paddle out with Park Naturalists and IBSP Lifeguards, and maybe you’ll be hangin’ 10 by the end of the summer! Drop off your child for two hours of fun!
Things to Know
Ages: 8 to 17 yrs only
Where to meet:
Pavilion at Swimming Area #2, approximately 3 miles south of park entrance.
What to bring:
Bring towel, sunscreen, bug spray, water and snack. Wear bathing suit.
*Foam surfboards and rash guards are provided, but if you have your own surfboard, wetsuit/rash guard you can bring it
Events will run rain or shine. There will be NO REFUNDS unless the Park cancels the event. No exceptions.
Please remember to bring your ticket and signed liability form.
