Join expert park naturalists and avid birders on a peaceful paddle through the Sedge Islands Marine Conservation Zone. Observe Osprey families on their nests, a peregrine falcon tower, tons of shorebirds and a sandbar teeming with hungry birds. Along the way, you'll also learn more about the area, bird migration, bird identification and more!

Must be 14 years or older to participate, minors (14-17) must be accompanied by an adult.
We provide all equipment. Kayaks are open-top tandem 2-person ocean kayaks. You are welcome to bring your own kayak if you prefer, but please give us advanced notice.
No kayaking experience is necessary. We will provide some brief instruction on how to kayak before the program tailored for complete beginners.
Ticket sales will close at 4pm the day before the event.
Tours will run rain or shine. There will be NO REFUNDS unless the Park cancels the event. No exceptions.
Meet your naturalists at parking lot A21, approximately 8 miles south of the park entrance. Parking is limited so please arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to the start of the program. Additional parking is located in lot A20.
