US Life Saving Service & US Coast Guard
Take a casual hike down oceanside Coast Guard trail and observe one of the original Life Saving Stations at IBSP! The park is home to 3 historic Life Saving Stations and participants will hear fascinating stories about the USLSS, USCG, shipwrecks and more! After the program, participants are encouraged to visit the Interpretive Center to see the new Shipwreck exhibit.
Things to Know
Where to meet:
Parking lot of Reeds Road Trail, approximately 1/2 mile south of the park entrance.
What to bring:
Bring sunscreen, bug spray, water and snack.
Trips will run rain or shine. There will be NO REFUNDS unless the Park cancels the event. No exceptions.
