Join IBSP Naturalist and volunteers from the NJ Beach Buggy Association and become a part of the classic sport of Surf Fishing! Learn how to tie knots, how to read the beach, what species to catch and how you can improve your skills!
All equipment and bail will be provided. Children must be 10 years or older and anyone 10-18 must be accompanied by an adult. Participants 16 and older should register as a NJ Saltwater Angler. Registration is free and can be completed online at NJDEP | NJ Saltwater Recreational Registry Program.
Things to Know
Where to meet:
Forked River Interpretive Center, approximately 7 miles south of the park entrance.
What to bring:
We provide all equipment and bait. Bring sunscreen, bug spray, water and snack.
*Fishing Rods are provided, but if you have your own fishing rod, you can bring it
Fishing trips will run rain or shine. There will be NO REFUNDS unless the Park cancels the event. No exceptions.
Please remember to bring your ticket and signed liability form.
